A Chair that Reflects the Essence of the Mind

The Existence Chair is not your ordinary seating arrangement. It is a piece of architecture that defines boundaries while leaving ample room for the mind to wander. Liujincheng Zhang, the visionary behind this unique design, explains that the inspiration for the chair came from the concept of existence itself. Instead of focusing on physical comfort, Zhang aimed to create a chair that reflects the essence of the mind.

The Existence Chair project commenced in May 2019 in California and reached completion in January 2021 in China. The chair's intellectual property and copyright belong to Liujincheng Zhang.

This remarkable design has received recognition in the form of the Bronze A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category in 2022.
